Due to our small facility, we need all the room we can get for paying customers. We are providing a service and unfortunately in these times of a pandemic, those that don't buy and purchase after these 15 mins are asked to leave due to occupancy restarints that the state mandates. We do allow a 15 min window for people to decide on how they are going to proceed with purchasing something before we ask them to leave. I am usually called and can be there within the hour. We do unfortunately run across a few times that the ATM goes down and we are aware that this can cause some strain. We have not ever accepted cards in the 14 years that we have been open and this has never changed. As I am the one that makes sure that ATM is working properly, I can assure that the ATM was not down on Christmas eve and was fully functional the entire day, even through the next 3 days. As you stated, we are not located in the best place in Las Vegas and we do often have problems with people coming in and just hanging out. Just add to the huge pile of why the gay scene sucks in Vegas.
I spent my 33rd birthday there earlier this summer and I guess that'll be the last good memory I have at fun hog ranch. If someone is alone on Christmas Eve in your bar, you don't kick em out.I left.and I will never go back. I was polite about the situation and so was the bartender. What happened to the gay safe spaces? What happened to the gay community and just being polite to one another. If your cash machine is down.you should consider making exceptions to the rules. The staff is great and friendly and quick. I told them to stop and get some cash.No big deal.or so I thought.I was kicked out of the bar because I COULDN'T order anything.which was no fault of my own. The Fun Hog Ranch is a gay bar friendly enough for your straight friends. I thought I'd hang out for a minute and wait for my friends. I use credit cards, and they don't usually work with ATMs. I don't carry cash with me.especially in a dodgy neighborhood. My friends hate the bar and I always beg and force them to go because it's my favorite in town.until tonight.I went to buy a drink, they said that they were accepting cash only. Ive been going to fun hog for over 10 years.
